It’s been a year of tears and sorrow since our beloved friend
MARIAN GHIRTOIU
passed into eternity.
A delicate being and nevertheless Lord of the spirit, he tenderly unearthed the memory of our dearest aunts Mona and Lisa Stanescu, remarkable artists and directors, from the shadow of history.
Mr. Ghirtoiu, art lover and a passionate negative cutter at Sahia Film Studios, rescued Mona and Lisa Stanescu’s oeuvre from the merciless sword of oblivion.
We are eternally grateful and we’ll mourn you until the day we come to you and our artist aunts, towards the Light.
