The necrology of the Artist and his contribution to Necropolitics
BMR has been collecting obituaries from the daily newspaper Romania Libera since its opening in 2009. Their emotional language has been followed and archived and speaks for the Romanian media discourse full of sentimental outbursts. Private (auto)biographies supersede analysis in the construction of images of public political figures and artists alike.
This discussion was initiated because of the BMR's internal and external collaborations on which doubts were constantly cast. We were interested in re-questioning the authority of authors, the deaths of the author and other deaths for which various authors are responsible. Florin and the Bureau's interests overlapped in some

Perjo's visit contributed largely to the heated debate which lasted until the last bus. We tackled issues such as copyright vs property, the financing of critical art in Bucharest today, the death of art spaces, finally reaching melodramatic debates over moral conduct in art, short carriers of artists turned into political activists and the over-used question what is to be done.
At the end we watered the flowers on our graves. You should do the same: M.A.C.R.A.
Memorialul Artei Contemporane Româneşti de Azi
Există în arta contemporană românească un stil dominant. Oile sînt numărate zilnic în diferite feluri. Apar tot soiul de cataloage, culegeri, colecţii, expoziţii comune comemorative ale prezentului etc. Artiştii par a fi grupaţi şi regrupaţi în timp real. În locul producţiei e aleasă diseminarea, care nu e una a operei ci a persoanei. După cum ştim, un artist se vinde cel mai bine după moartea fizică. Dorim să contribuim la eficientizarea acestui flux, aşa că îi vom reuni pe artiştii români contemporani în şi dincolo de mormînt, într-un cimitir virtual, care la o dată ulterioară va lua şi o formă fizică.
Şi pentru înlesni feedbackul şi dincolo de mormînt, am aşternut la baza crucilor lor cîte un buchet de flori cu două poziţii, modificabile prin click: ON [plin de culoare, viu, frumos, cu iubire] şi OFF [gri,veştejit, furat, pişat]. Ceea ce clickaţi, alţii pot dezclicka şi viceversa.
