THE MAP OF POWER AND THE PRESSURES ON SUBJECTIVITY
Lecture: Florin Flueras
*ST replaced BMR at the job at the Center for Individual Study

Florin drew a map of power on a white cardboard, starting from the upper suprademocratic structures (not elected by deomcratic vote) such as IMF, World Bank, ending with the apparent innocent and allegedly autonomous institutions such as art.
He went along the vertical and horizontal axes of this map to explain how power structures determine and affect our subjectivity. From immaterial labour and cognitive capitalism in the First World to the efficient management of death in the Third World.
